Halima is a 17 year old with Down Syndrome who has been coming faithfully to the center since we started in 2021. Her mother has seen Halima improve so much during this time. She tries hard to communicate now and has learned to write her name (amazing). Halima can perform fine motor tasks previously impossible for her. She has really improved in caring for herself and preparing to come to class each week. She is always so excited to see her friends! Each week she runs into the center to give us all hugs and she is usually the very first person to arrive each week. We love you, Halima, and we are so proud of all of your amazing progress!
