At Shield City, we take pride in providing a hands-on learning experience for all of our kids with special needs. Each tutoring session is tailored made to the student who receives one-on-one intervention with our highly trained tutors. You can sponsor one of our center's children for $45 USD a month! What Do You Mean By Tutoring?

Speech Activities

We help children with speech delays, autism, and other disabilities to find their voice through interactive sessions with their tutor. We read books, talk about day-to-day activities and work on speech through play.

Day to Day Learning

We work on basic skills to help out kids in their daily tasks, as well as opportunities for them to grow and learn academic skills. Each of the activities at the center is designed to help our kids grow and learn.

Life Skills

We help our kids to learn how to cook, bathe, and sweep their yards. These basic skills help them in their day-to-day living, because they learn to contribute to their communities.
