Potty Training for Special Needs Kids

We had an amazing series of three trainings from Fatty Giwa, an Autism mom coach from Nigeria, Potty Training Expert, and Certified Autism Specialist.  See our fun new posts of training days on Instagram! The parents benefited so much for all of these training sessions.  We also enjoyed fun days with all of the kids as we met at the local cafe.  The kids played, made crafts and jumped in a bouncy castle.  We appreciate all of the donations that made it possible for us to hold these special educational events for the parents and kids. 

Parents learned some new protips on how to work with their autistic children. One important element we learned about was how to build an emotional connection with your child through bonding experiences. This warm connection can foster a more solid foundation for teaching the child new skills.
